Hatsume Fair (Japanese Festival in South Florida)

Yes, I know it is a 4 hour drive south, but this beautiful museum is definitely worth the trip. Especially during their largest event, Hatsume on Saturday and Sunday, March 20-21. This is info from their website.

Celebrating the first bud of spring, the Morikami's largest annual event, Hatsume, transforms the normally tranquil Morikami Park into an unique Japanese spring festival.

In its 31st year, Hatsume Fair features three stages of continuous entertainment including taiko drumming, martial art demonstrations, children's activities, and Anime @ Hatsume including dealers, a cosplay contest, and presentations of Anime History, Travel to Japan, Japanese Folk Tales and more!
Also included are avenues of artisan booths, plant sales, anime dealers, Asian and American food vendors and The Kirin Beer Garden!

Based in Tokyo, Guitarist Ryoji Yamaguchi, Jazz bassist Erika Sato, and percussionist Takashi Kaneko perform arrangements of Japanese traditional folk music as well as original works. The ensemble blends rhythms and harmony of Jazz, Japanese music, Classical, and other world music.
